The North Stars struggled against the Grizzlies 5-2 in home game

The Breezy Point North Stars struggled against the Rochester Grizzlies Grizzlies allowing Vladislv Sorokin to score a hat trick as Breezy Point crushed the Grizzlies 5-2 in a home game at Breezy Point Hockey Center in Breezy Point. The Rochester Grizzlies Grizzlies took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Vladislv Sorokin.

Braeden Zaste chipped in with 2 assists. Matthew Derosa had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Richard Szabo contributed with 2 assists.

During the first period, Sorokin opened the scoring for the Grizzlies with a goal at 4:37 with a helper from Derosa. Curran quickly followed with a goal at 5:43 with helpers from teammates Zaste and Borseth.

In the third, Sorokin answered for Rochester Grizzlies with a goal at 8:19 with assists from Bennett and Haney. Sorokin quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 9:25 with helpers from his linemates, Bacon and Szabo. Derosa netted a goal at 15:26 with assists from his linemates, Sorokin and Szabo. Morin answered for the North Stars with a goal at 18:23 with helpers from Kitchen and Zaste. Flanders quickly followed with a goal at 19:40 with assists from Mehren and Olson.

This loss brings the Breezy Point North Stars’ record to (2-7-0-0).
