During the first, Kram opened the scoring for the North Stars with a goal at 1:02 with helpers from Fladebo and Flicek. Irwin answered for Wausau with a goal at 5:45 with helpers from Hempel and Pinkert. Maucieri quickly followed with a goal at 7:21 with assists from his linemates, Krueger and Petroske.
In the second, Alton answered for the RiverWolves with a goal at 0:50 with helpers from teammates Hempel and Renter. Rukamp put in a goal at 3:52 with an assist from Alton. Flicek answered for Breezy Point with a goal at 17:48 with helpers from Fladebo and Kram.
In the third period, Irwin answered for Wausau with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 10:39 with assists from his linemates, Burgener and Alfonso.
This loss brings the Breezy Point North Stars’ record to (14-25-2-0).
