The North Stars struggled against the Blizzard 8-3 in home game

Bronson Moore came up big, stopping 35 of 43 shots throughout the game. The Alexandria Blizzard took the lead late in the first on a goal from Luke Benson and never looked back.

Austin Langworthy contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Logan Nelson delivered for his team with 2 goals and Luke Benson had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

During the first, Nelson opened the scoring for the Blizzard with a goal at 1:44 with helpers from his linemates, Carey and Dahlseide. Scanlon put in a goal at 3:57 with helpers from his linemates, Dropik and Roen. Benson netted a goal at 13:45 with assists from his linemates, Frerichs and Worley. Benson deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 17:21 with helpers from Skar and Worley.

In the second, Langworthy finally put the North Stars on the board with a goal at 10:19.

During the third, Roen answered for the Blizzard with a goal at 1:10 with assists from teammates Dropik and Skar. Nelson deposited a goal at 4:59 with helpers from Tschida and Dahlseide. Kram answered for Breezy Point with a goal at 9:20. Roen quickly followed with a goal at 11:13 with assists from his linemates, Carey and Scanlon. Frerichs quickly followed with a goal at 13:09 with helpers from his linemates, Benson and Worley. Heckaman answered for the North Stars with a goal at 17:33 with assists from his teammates Fladebo and Langworthy.

This loss brings the Breezy Point North Stars’ record to (4-9-0-0).
