During the first, Wieber opened the scoring for the North Stars with a goal at 1:33 with a helper from Hoyt. Meister quickly followed with a goal at 3:30 with assists from his linemates, Dropik and Roen. Scanlon netted a goal at 6:03 with helpers from teammates Skar and Benson.
During the second period, Behl put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 14:21 with assists from Scanlon and Mellstrom.
In the third, Fladebo answered for Breezy Point with a goal at 5:39 with helpers from his linemates, Maucieri and Langworthy. Meister answered for the Blizzard with a goal at 14:46 with assists from Skar and Dahlseide. Scanlon put in a goal at 19:11 with helpers from Johnson and Mellstrom.
