The North Stars struggled against the Ice Hawks 9-5 in home game

The Breezy Point North Stars' defense had a poor night, allowing the Rochester Ice Hawks 43 shots throughout the game. The Rochester Ice Hawks took the lead late in the second on a goal from Jake Beal.

Dawson Kram delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Larsen Tubbs chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Josh Hoffman did his part, adding 2 goals and Drew Westphal contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Tubbs opened the scoring for the North Stars with a goal at 0:56 with helpers from his teammates Kram and Wieber. Westphal answered for the Ice Hawks with a goal at 11:55 with a helper from Beal. Kram answered for Breezy Point with a goal at 16:13 with assists from Tubbs and Engstrom.

In the third period, Hoffman deposited a goal at 4:15 with an assist from fellow Ice Hawks forward Rooney. Langworthy quickly followed with a goal at 4:20. Moots quickly followed with a goal at 5:37 with helpers from Shupert and Westphal. Hoyt answered for Breezy Point with a goal at 16:38 with an assist from his linemate Langworthy. Fladebo quickly followed with a goal at 17:20. Renn quickly followed with a goal at 19:00.

This loss brings the Breezy Point North Stars’ record to (4-7-0-0).
