Coming off a hard fought 5-4 loss to Granite City on Wednesday night, the Breezy Point North Stars showed their resilience, with a commanding win over the New Ulm Steel. Saturday, it was Teddy Bear toss for charity night and in front of a crowd of over 600 teddy bear armed fans, the Stars didn’t disappoint. The North Stars established a strong lead to secure a 7-1 win over the New Ulm Steel. Christian Lenzmeier tallied first, continuing his hot streak. AJ Hoyt notched his first goal of the season, also adding an assist. Captain Nick Blanchette, added 2 goals on the night and Kass Dvorak came knocking next, with his first and second of the season. To round out the rest of the scoring, rookie Ryan Higgins added his 4th of the season. Magnus Lindhe stood tall between the pipes, as he stopped 25 of 26 shots, to cap off the victory. Tim O’Connor scored one and goalie Nathan Siclovan made 39 saves for New Ulm.
