Sanzottera stymies Minnesota, Breezy Point wins 4-1

Christian Sanzottera had a standout game with 31 saves, and Breezy Point beat Minnesota 4-1.

Josh Laven had two goals and one assist to lead Breezy Point. Laven scored the first of his two goals at 12:46 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Breezy Point. Clifford Ogle picked up the assist. Laven\’s next tally made the score 4-1 Breezy Point with three seconds left in the third period. Nick Blanchette provided the assist.

Breezy Point stifled Minnesota\’s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Breezy Point\’s offense rang up 43 shots on Minnesota\’s net.

Breezy Point also got points from Tyler Larwood, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Breezy Point also got a goal from Austin Langworthy as well. More assists for Breezy Point came via Christian Lenzmeier, who had one and Cory Dennis, who had two.

Minnesota was led by Jacob Cox, who scored the team\’s only goal. Cox scored 1:16 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Breezy Point. Tyler Leverty picked up the assist.
