BREEZY POINT, MN – The Breezy Point North Stars, proud members of the NA3HL announced today the four captains that will help lead their team to the playoffs in the 2015-2016 season. Ryan Mezera and Tyler Larwood have been named team captains while Jake Tomkowiak and Sean Viti will be the assistants for the year.

Ryan Mezera is a second-year player and has seen time in the North American Hockey League.  "As a coaching staff, we feel Ryan can lead this team on and off the ice with his work ethic and skill," said second-year head coach Jeff Worlton.  "As the head coach you need to feel that your captains will be first one to do things the right way, and I feel Ryan can and will be that guy."

Tyler Larwood, along with Mezera, returned to Breezy Point a second year. According to Worlton, Larwood's game resembles the North Stars.  "Tyler is what the Breezy Point North Stars are all about," Worlton added. A tough, blue collar kid with a good skill set.  As a coaching staff you wish for kids to be skilled, hard noised, and most importantly a team first player."
